Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear? Our members wear everything from dresses and suits to jeans and t-shirts. Please do not feel that if you do not have a dress to wear, you cannot worship with us. At SBC, you will fit in no matter what you wear.
Do you have childcare? Yes, we provide a nursery during each service for children up to age four. We offer Beginner's and Children's church on Sunday mornings during the 10:45 service for children up through 2nd grade. On Sunday evenings, our AWANA program is for children through 8th grade. On Wednesday nights, we have a Children's Choir in the choir room that is for children ages 4 through 5th grade. The youth also meet on Wednesday night in the gym.
What is Family Night Supper? On the last Wednesday night of the month, we have a covered-dish meal in the gym at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend the dinner. We do not have services or children's choir on the night of Family Night Supper.
What is the difference between the early service and the 10:45 service? The only difference in the two services is that the choir does not sing in the early service. We offer a blended music style in both services as well as the same sermon during both services.
I'm lost! Who can I ask to show me around? Each Sunday, we have greeters at the side door and front door to hand out our bulletins that would be more than happy to answer any of your questions. You can also ask any of our church members on the pew beside you! If you have questions about the church, you can always feel free to contact the church office during the week for a tour or to ask questions.
